HRD Corp is responsible for driving Malaysia’s talent development aspirations through the collection of levy from employers and the funding of training and development programmes for the Malaysian workforce. Its aim is to encourage employee training and skill enhancement for the Malaysian workforce.

This 5-day program, regulated by the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC), empowers individuals with essential trainer skills. Upon completion of certification, courses conducted by trainer is eligible for HRDC claimable Training Funds contributed by corporates.

You will acquire the fundamental skills to be an effective trainer, covering 5 Modules over 5 Days.

  5. Assess Participant’s Competency
  • Obtain your TTT certificate in order to conduct training under various HRD Corp schemes (pursuing training as a career option) / Certified internal trainers can also conduct HRD Corp Claimable courses in-house
  • Personal development/upskilling as TTT is about equipping you with the skills to become a more effective & confident trainer
  • Expand your network by meeting like minded individuals from different industries – these will be your fellow participants in the TTT program
  • For active trainers with many years of experience, the TTT program serves as a refresher and helps you become more structured in your training
  • All adults can join the TTT program, there are no specific requirements. We do encourage participants to already be a subject matter expert in their respective fields to make the most out of the TTT program, however this is not a requirement. 
  • Participants can range from students with little work experience to university lecturers with decades of teaching experience. 
  • Anyone may register as an Individual – you do not need to be under a company to join.

There will be no formal examination. However, a brief presentation is required and will be assessed by the master trainer for certification purposes. This presentation assessment will be done within the 5-day program.

All participants who pass the presentation assessment will receive a certificate issued by HRD Corp after the TTT program. It will usually take 1-3 weeks for you to receive your certificate. The certificate will be sent to the email address you provide during registration. 

  • TTT Certified trainers may conduct training under HRD Corp schemes until 31st December 2024 without accreditation. 
  • As of 1st January 2025, only HRD Corp Accredited Trainers will be allowed to conduct training under various HRD Corp schemes.
  • There is no expiry date for your TTT certificate, however trainers must meet the requirement of 360 training hours every 3 years for their Accreditation to be auto-renewed.

Payment and registration should be completed at least 1 week before the scheduled training date.

TTT Program fees are regulated by HRD Corp, as such, we are not allowed to change the pricing or offer any discounts, including the pricing for in-house training.

  • TTT does not belong under the HRD Corp Claimable Course (HCC) scheme. However, HRD Corp Registered Employers can pay for the TTT program via HRD Corp levy under the SMETAP scheme.
  • Payment via levy deduction is automatic upon successful registration via the HRD Corp registration page. Ensure that you have registered under HRD Corp Registered Employers and selected Levy Deduction as your payment method.
  • For TTT registration under SMETAP scheme, you are not required to submit any documents or apply for grant unlike HCC.
  • Payment is automatically debited from the employer’s levy balance upon approval of your registration. You only have to register through the official registration page – no further steps.
